The Kipus is the name of one of the most renowned groups in the field of peruvian “criolla” (creole) music. This group was also the first musical trio in Peru to include a female singer as the leading voice. The Kipus’s style stands out notoriously by its fine arrangements and good vocal work. Los Kipus es el nombre de una de las agrupaciones más reconocidas en el ámbito de la música criolla peruana, siendo además la primera en el Perú en conformar un trío mixto teniendo como voz principal a una mujer.
